Normosan Herbal Blend
The well-balanced herbs buckthorn bark and senna promote bowel movements. Buckthorn bark contains active ingredients that act on the large intestine and induce a bowel movement 8 hours after ingestion. Senna leaves intensively stimulate the peristaltic movement of the large intestine, inhibit fluid absorption through the intestines, and induce a bowel movement. The effect occurs 6-8 hours after ingestion. Elderberries help the kidneys to eliminate metabolic waste products more effectively. Caraway and peppermint relax the digestive tract and promote digestion.
Dosage: Children 12 years and older and adults: Boil ¾ of the measuring cup with 1 cup of water briefly. Strain after 15 minutes and drink fresh in the evening before dinner. Bowel movement occurs 8-12 hours after ingestion. Frequent use over a prolonged period can lead to habituation and dependence on buckthorn bark. Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day. Do not use more than 3 times a week.
Warnings: Not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to anthropoids, intestinal narrowing and constipation, kidney inflammation, acute enteritis, or appendicitis.
