The capsules contain herbal extracts (from blueberries, marigolds, ginkgo) that optimally care for the eyes and prevent eye diseases in old age. The anthocyanosides found in blueberries, which give it its dark purple color, prevent capillary fragility and blood capillary permeability, thin blood and ensure good blood circulation, especially in the eyes. Lutein and zeaxanthin are orange-yellow carotenoids of plant origin that can be found in the yellow spot of the human retina and protect the visual cells from short-wave light and free radicals. Scientific studies show that an adequate supply of these pigments may reduce the risk of developing age-related macular degeneration and cataracts and influence their course. Although lutein and zeaxanthin are found in high concentrations in the yellow spot, they are only ingested with food, mainly from plant sources. In the capsules they are obtained from marigold and French marigold. Ginkgo biloba leaves increase brain performance, improve memory and concentration by improving blood circulation in the head area (brain, ears, eyes). They thin the blood and widen the blood vessels in this area, thereby improving metabolism and the supply of oxygen.
